All the staff at Foxbarn teamed up for the Ultimate Challenge and their team The Foxy Hookers raised £2620 for Cancer Research UK. The event was held on Sunday 9th September in the grounds of Haberdashers’ Askes’s Boys School, Elstree, Herts. The Ultimate Challenge, an “It’s A Knockout” type of event, run by the Mothers and Daughters Committee, raised approximately £130,000 which this year will go towards the work of Professor Richard Begent, Director of Cancer Research’s Targeting and Imaging Research Group based at the Royal Free Hospital and University College Medical School. Over the nine years that Mothers and Daughters have been running the Ultimate Challenge they have raised nearly one million pounds for Cancer Research.
